A Cum Laude graduate with a degree in economics from Boston University, Maria Elena traveled the world after studying in Italy and living in London. She previously owned and managed an (eponymous) restaurant in Greenwich Village. MariaElena is the mother of two and an active participant in her children’s schools – The Sacred Heart and Steven Gaynor. She is also an avid supporter of the New York City Parks Conservancy and Innocence Project.
