Gina came to real estate after a long career in community outreach and communications in the DC area, including learning the “other side” of home ownership through working in the Arlington County Department of Community Planning Housing and Development. Gina has a particular interest in bringing new life to older homes and helps guide clients from the daydreaming phase to the ins-and-outs of planning, permitting and construction. She also created digital content for underserved audiences at PBS KIDS, built community playgrounds at KaBOOM!, and brought the joy of reading to children at Reading Is Fundamental.
Gina has extensive experience with home renovations and unique projects like DIY garages, accessory dwelling units, and indoor/outdoor living spaces. She and her husband renovate their mid-century modern, architect-built home in their spare time and are designing and building a series of modern cabins in the Blue Ridge Mountains. They’re also renovating a 34-foot vintage Airstream for family adventures with their two young children and rescue dog Ernie.
Gina serves as civic association president for her close-knit neighborhood and has taught yoga and creative writing to teenagers in the past. She’s an avid reader, functional fitness junkie, and an amateur-but-enthusiastic gardener and chef.
