Barbara Katsnelson

Barbara Katsneslon was raised in a real estate family and immersed in construction and development from a young age through her father's contracting and real estate development business. She's well versed in all of the details and nuances of building and managing real estate in NYC from co-op/ condo conversions to ground up townhouses.
Becoming a Real Estate Broker with Barbara's natural career move. She was able to bring her degree in Journalism, extensive knowledge in marketing, and genuine interest in people to the Brooklyn and Manhattan market. Over eight years ago Barbara began her career on Brooklyn's Top team at Corcoran. In her first two years, her tireless efforts paid off in putting 40 units into contract. She blossomed under her team's guidance and expertise and was able to evolve. She left the team to go out on her own in her 4th year of selling real estate.
Barbara is assertive in her negotiations and always puts her clients first. She starts every day thinking “How can I best serve my clients? How can I bring the highest value to them?” Beyond brokering deals for her clients, her true Real Estate passions comes from the opportunity to help create community in the neighborhoods she sells in. Her expertise, experience, and desire to serve make her an optimum broker.
Barbara is a native New Yorker born in Brooklyn and speaks fluent Russian. Outside of work, Barbara is involved in a leadership/life coaching training program to continually grow and develop the skills to excel. She also enjoys dance, travel and art, and is passionate about architecture and interior design which inspires her in her work each day.
