A New Mexico native, Karesse Grenier grew up surrounded by majestic mountains, desert and open skies, with time to read and to dream. She was inspired when she read about New York Citys eight million people. She arrived in 1969 in awe of the skyline, the soaring buildings filled with people the most phenomenal landscape of all.
