Raymond Roopnarine

Raymond has been interested in architecture since he was a child. While growing up in London, he would marvel at the facades of the buildings. His passion for architecture/design/real estate shines through in every conversation. Raymond's eye for what a space can become and his background in marketing have helped him to sell over a quarter of billion dollars of real estate so far.

Raymond has extensive experience with new developments; having worked on several buildings. He is responsible for the sellout of the EDGE Condominiums in Williamsburg. At one time, the largest and the fastest selling condominium project in the New York City. Raymond has used this expertise to successfully advise developers, sellers, and buyers.

Prior to real estate, Raymond worked in luxury retail. He was a Group Manager at Barneys New York and a Director at the flagship Saks Fifth Avenue on Fifth Ave. Raymond's experience in training his staff to not only sell more effectively but to develop lasting relationships with their clients has been a key to his success.

Raymond was born in Guyana, South America. His family then relocated to London, UK before eventually making their way to the United States of America. This international perspective allows him to see spaces, negotiations, and marketing in an individual way. He attended Rutgers University majoring in Business and Marketing. Raymond also holds a degree in Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Raymond is a member of the Real Estate of New York.
