Brian Carter

Brian Carter got his first taste of real estate management as a student when he was hired to work in college housing programs. While studying for his Bachelor's degree in business administration at Truman State University, Missouri and then an MBA in Finance at the University of Wisconsin, Brian managed residence halls and directed programming for several hundred students on each campus.

After acquiring financial, managerial and technical experience working for major companies such as Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Meridian Capital Markets and M & I Banking Corporation, Brian turned his talents to real estate as a professional.

In 2002, he became a broker in South Florida and set the bar at providing only the highest level of real estate services. He soon became a consummate sales professional for luxury residential properties and multi-family investment property.

Brian managed sales teams for pre-construction and conversion projects, chalking up sales of more than 500 units in such projects as Baylofts Condominiums, Waters Edge at Deerfield and Hidden Waters Condominium. At the Altos de Miami project, he and his team overcame the rigors of a challenging market to lease 56 units and sell more than half the remaining inventory at competitive retail prices.

As the managing broker for Douglas Elliman Florida, real estate agency, Brian honed his skills to become a multi-million dollar producer. He has now brought his expertise to Douglas Elliman where he serves clients in residential and commercial real estate. Buyers, sellers and investors will benefit from his dedication to customer service, an unmatched work ethic and incomparable knowledge of the South Florida market.

Brian Carter's valuable ties to the community extend beyond his professional life –He is president of The Preserves Town Home Condominiums, an active member of BNI, the Young Presidents Club at Mount Sinai Medical Center and a Pillar member of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce.
