ABOUT AMANDA

Investment specialist Amanda Rosenberg has been consistently regarded as one of New York City's most successful real estate agents for the past nineteen years. She was nationally ranked within the top 1% of the 41,000 agents operating under the largest residential real estate brokerage in the United States before joining Douglas Elliman Real Estate, where she was ranked in the top 8% of agents company-wide in 2018 and 2021. Due to her impressive track record, Amanda has been a guest lecturer on the subject of negotiations for MBA students at Said Business School at the University of Oxford, UCL School of Management at University College London, Peking University, and Wisconsin School of Business.

Sellers, buyers, landlords and renters all benefit substantially from Amanda's ability to negotiate favorable prices and terms by presenting compelling data to support offers and counteroffers. Representing clients in the sale, acquisition, and leasing of new developments, luxury condos, co-ops, brownstones, and townhouses, her guidance from many years of experience have proven to be invaluable resources. Whether she is exclusively listing an apartment for sale, guiding a buyer through the purchasing process, or finding the perfect rental, Amanda exceeds expectations, resulting in repeat business and referrals.

As a former member of her Upper East Side co-op's Board of Directors, Amanda has extensive experience working closely with property management companies and contractors. She excels in preparing buyers and renters for co-op board interviews, as she has been both the interviewer and interviewee in multiple real estate transactions.

Amanda is a lifelong New Yorker and holds two degrees from New York University, where she earned a B.F.A in Dramatic Writing from Tisch School of the Arts, and a master's degree in Psychology from the Graduate School of Arts and Science. She was a postgraduate research fellow at Harvard University's Department of Psychology, and a teaching assistant for an online course at Harvard entitled, The Psychology of Competition and Peak Performance. She has also volunteered her time as a crisis counselor for at-risk youths and young adults, and is pursuing a master's degree in mental health counseling at New York University.

Believing strongly in the importance of philanthropy, Amanda is a member of numerous environmental and animal welfare organizations and has adopted two rescue Chow Chows.
