Douglas Elliman

1995 Broadway
Kim has been in the business for over 20 years and is a top producer with the Lense Team, ranking in the top 3% for 2023. She is the honored and repeated recipient of Douglas Elliman's Leading Edge award and has received awards for Broker of the Month for top sales in her office. She has executed sales and rentals throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, with co-op, condo, new development, and townhouse transactions. Additionally, she has conducted deals on Roosevelt Island and in Queens.

During the challenging economic times of COVID and in 2009, she successfully closed sales and rental deals for her clients and instilled confidence in numerous buyers. Since New York's economic recovery, Kim has often sold residential properties at or above asking price, going to contract in under a month. In 2005 she sold a Harlem property for the highest cost per square foot ever, at the time. Her continued efforts have earned her repeat business and continuing relationships with past clients. In addition to sales transactions, she has maintained repeat business with homeowners, who use her expertise in finding the best rental tenants, as well.

Prior to joining Douglas Elliman, Kim worked for one of New York City's top real estate developers and management companies, the Brodsky Organization. There, she handled the day-to-day operations of real estate management at a luxury condo on the Upper East Side and a top-tier co-op on downtown Fifth Avenue. With her extensive knowledge of co-op and condo transactions, she has built a solid and growing business.

Kim is a Fulbright Scholar, having taught English in South Korea, and then went on to teach in the English Department at the Foreign Language University in Seoul. As an adoptee, she also volunteered at an orphanage in Seoul throughout 1996 and 1997. Kim graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, class of 1992. Aside from her passion for real estate, Kim has a love of animals and fosters rescue dogs through a New York non-profit organization called Posh Pets Rescue. Kim and her husband are also doting human parents to four-legged rescue dogs.
