Zaida Farnham

Zaida Farnham, Senior Associate, left her successful Manhattan career to join the Douglas Elliman Boston Division. In New York, Zaida worked alongside a team of professionals under Ann Cutbill Lenane, Elliman’s #2 Manhattan ranked Broker. This experience, as well as being licensed in both Massachusetts and New York, has given Zaida an unsurpassed edge in reference to global insight, innovative marketing, client expertise, and transaction efficiency.

Originally from Staten Island and prior to her entry into real estate, Zaida worked in the airline industry and holds 2 culinary degrees which helped her to secure a position as a chef at a five-star fishing resort in Costa Rica.

Zaida's transition into Manhattan real estate began as a leasing agent averaging 18-20 rental deals per month in addition to selling residences throughout Manhattan and neighboring boroughs.

She is the proud mother of two. Her son is a Columbia and MIT graduate, and is a Boston real estate developer and her daughter is a graduate of Cortland and works in the banking industry. Compassion and dedication hold true to Zaida’s warming personality as a portion of her New York volunteer work included helping the homeless purchase residences of their own.

Zaida resided in New York’s Upper West Side for over 30 years and now calls Cambridge her home.
