Ting Hu

Real estate comes naturally to Ting because she has family and friends in the business in China and New York, and has learned from developers. She specializes in rentals and sales in many neighborhoods in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Born in China, Ting has been living in New York for over 10 year. She is a true New Yorker. She knows the city very well, and has a particular passion for helping buyers and investors from China.

Ting is particularly attracted to modern, simple design, but will find her clients whatever they seek, from the new to the historic. Her passion for design blossomed throughout her past career, which began in advertising. Ting subsequently worked on design, art direction and video editing at large advertising companies such as JWT, and as a manager at an innovative startup company in Shanghai. She practices her love for fashion as a stylist for independent film projects. Her creative eye, aesthetic vision and project management skills separate her from the crowd when it comes to seeing potential in the homes you are searching for or selling.

Originally from China, Ting also lived in New Zealand as a teenager, then came to New York to attend one of the best U.S. design schools, School of Visual Arts. She majored in advertising and graphic design. Ting lived in Manhattan first before falling in love with Brooklyn. She resided in Williamsburg for four years and now calls Fort Greene home.

She is always looking for ways to be expressive, Ting loves designing cards and any hand crafts. She's also heavily into art, film and music, likes Old Fashions more than Martinis, and has been taking Flamenco dance lessons for over three years.
