Kerry joined Douglas Elliman with years of industry experience as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson. She began her career with an 80-agent boutique brokerage firm in Manhattan where she worked as the Assistant Sales Manager and agent. This direct support role exposed her to both rental and sales opportunities, and provided expertise in New York City's complex co-op board packages as well as mastering rental and sales procedure. Kerry has also sold and closed commercial building transactions in NYC, Westchester and the Hamptons including navigating the complex world of 1031 exchanges.

Her experience is not limited to working with New Yorkers but she also is comfortable with international buyers from Asia and South America. Several years ago, Kerry organized an initiative to cultivate foreign buyers by integrating real estate sales pitches into the environment of immigration attorneys, NYC developers and EB-5 participants in China. She spent 3 years traveling to China and Hong Kong cultivating a client base for new development acquisitions in Manhattan from these buyers. Regarded as a cutting-edge success, Kerry continues to develop and maintain these relationships and provides asset management for foreign national owners of NYC and Long Island properties.

Before entering Manhattan real estate sales, Kerry served as the project manager for a large condominium project on Long Island's north shore. She was responsible for project banking, financial investors, municipal inspectors, permits, certificates of occupancy and the scheduling of condo closings. As the on-site project manager, she was also responsible for after-contract sales upgrades and finalizing closing packages. This created a firm foundation to excel in Manhattan real estate. Attending to purchasers, dealing with contracts, adhering to municipal government timelines and gaining a strong knowledge of construction procedures, Kerry considers this to be one of her greatest professional skills. This insight directly translated to understanding and identifying pre-war value add opportunities, an operational understanding of new development construction and the sales vernacular which can be tailored to each client's needs and depth of understanding.
Kerry's vision is not limited to individual units. She has cultivated, through experience, the ability to recognize conversion and repurposing opportunities for clients with successful track records in large scale Manhattan real estate projects and maintains a personal client roster of some of Manhattan's best developers.

With an M.A. in Education, Kerry is a lifetime learner and educator. She studies the markets, analyzes trends and forecasts areas where to focus. As an educator, she loves to teach her clients about the market and help them understand the process of buying and selling.

Born and raised on the north shore of Long Island, Kerry now resides among the action of Chelsea. Kerry is a graduate of Lynchburg College with a B.A. in Communications.
