Pietro Belmonte has generated over a half a billion dollars in marketing and selling the most prestigious properties in Miami Beach and New York City. He is sought out for his real estate expertise and guidance from top developers and investors from around the world. Pietro draws on his 30+ years of real estate experience to guide his clients through the transaction process, no matter the market conditions. Whether it is buying, selling, or leasing–he clearly understands the real estate market and optimizes every transaction.

He was granted “The Most Innovative Marketing Real Estate Agent” Award by the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce in 2014, and Pietro's marketing prowess and business acumen have made him one of the top-producing agents at Douglas Elliman. He is a devoted and passionate real estate expert achieving sales benchmarks that have made long-lasting impacts on the industry. Key achievements include holding the record for the fastest, most profitable sales in two of Miami Beach's top condominium properties and brokering many of the most lucrative land deals on Star Island and Golden Beach.

It all started in 1996, when Pietro entered the world of real estate and quickly became a go-to penthouse specialist. His expertise led him to becoming one of the top 25 grossing brokers in Manhattan. From 1996 to 2004, he specialized in top Manhattan penthouses, and some of the most prestigious properties he worked on included the Ritz-Carlton Penthouse downtown, 60 Gramercy Park North, and 60 Central Park West, with properties starting at $10 million.

In 2004, Pietro was invited by Howard Lorber (Douglas Elliman Executive Chairman) and Dottie Herman (Douglas Elliman CEO) to work on a pre-development project on Miami Beach and became part of the founding Florida division of Douglas Elliman. He then launched, marketed, and sold The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences in South Beach, Florida, successfully executing an international marketing and sales program, generating over $300 million in sales.

From 2005 to 2007, Pietro was selected to launch the Mondrian South Beach hotel residence development in Miami Beach, and with his skilled leadership the development became one of the fastest-selling projects that year. From 2007 to 2009, he was the co-sales director of private island property Dellis Cay and the Mandarin Oriental in Turks and Caicos. “While working with these exclusive projects I began to develop a database of high-net-worth clients around the world,” said Pietro. “This allowed me to balance and grow both my new development business and general real estate business.”

In 2018, he was recognized by Douglas Elliman, ranking among the firm's top 10 realtors, and in 2019, he partnered with Fredrik Eklund, John Gomes, and Julia Spillman to assemble and lead the EklundGomes team at Douglas Elliman in Florida, which has grossed over $4.6 billion in sales.

Born in New York and raised in Italy, Pietro has an appreciation for different cultures and languages. He is fluent in Italian and is an avid global traveler. He currently resides on The Venetian Islands in Miami Beach.

“I see my job as helping people get from one stage of their life to another,” said Pietro. “Moving is always a big life change and a deep sense of caring and detailed dedication needs to be made every step of the way.”
