Dara Gilman

As Vice President in Douglas Elliman Real Estate’s Metro DC office, Dara brings international experience and sensitivities to the cosmopolitan DC area marketplace. Raised in Tokyo, traveling extensively internationally, completing her education in International Business and Marketing, and enjoying a multi-million-dollar track record of successful sales across neighborhoods in DC, Maryland and Virginia, she is well-equipped to serve local and global clientele in their purchase and sale of distinctive residential properties.

Combining those strengths with what Dara’s clients refer to as her friendly and relatable yet focused manner, it is understandable why she has received multiple accolades from real estate organizations and press. Early in her career she was praised as “Agent on the Rise” by Real Estate Agent Magazine, followed by “Top Producer” honors by the Washingtonian in 2019 and 2022, and awards from the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR) three years in a row.

In addition to Dara’s unsurpassed local real estate knowledge and resourcefulness, her commitment to a client-centered, win-win work ethic plays a substantial role in her success. In her words, “I love building a connection with people and being a part of their important journey of home acquisition or sale. To that end, negotiation is a significant facet of my job.
