Vanessa Bossard

A New York resident since 1994, and an investor, owner, lessor, attorney and co-op board member since 2007, Vanessa has extensive personal and professional experience with all aspects of the real estate market. While she is happy to assist her clients in any of the boroughs, her principal focus is on sales and rentals in Manhattan neighborhoods – and she has lived in most of them, from Washington Heights, Morningside Heights and the Upper West Side, to Gramercy, to the Fashion District, to the East, West and Greenwich Villages.

Whether representing the seller or buyer, Vanessa believes that gaining a detailed understanding of her clients' real estate objectives is the key to effective matchmaking in the real estate market. "People and properties are idiosyncratic. A broker knowledgeable about both can efficiently sort through irrelevant information to make the right match."

Born in Philadelphia, Vanessa graduated summa cum laude from Barnard College (Columbia University) where she was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She then earned a Masters of Arts degree in Economics from the University Chicago and received her J.D. from NYU School of Law. Prior to becoming a real estate agent, she was a litigation associate at top law firms as well as a freelance writer and consultant for businesses in fields ranging from labor market analytics to organic skincare. Outside of work, Vanessa is usually absorbed in her creative writing and property renovation projects.
