Working in Corporate America and under the fortune 500 companies, I have always relayed on my abilities to implement and develop strategies and programs while working in a team culture, when it came time for me to choose a Real Estate company there was no question that it would be Douglas Elliman; The outstanding name, track record and unique brand promise in the neighborhood empowered me to deliver the exceptional customer support I was used to in everything life had prepared me for, ensuring the best service in the industry.
My biggest strength is my extreme knowledge of everything real estate and the ease in which I can communicate it to my clients and customers. I pull from a wealth of experience factors and easily translate the information to fit the needs of everyone I work with whether it be a homeowner listing their property or a first time buyer just beginning the search for their dream home.
I started my professional career with Chase Bank developing financial systems for their auto division, implementing referral programs to improve client services, coordinating service incentives and developing and managing specific teams to implement strategies to improve production, profits and service levels. From there, I transitioned into JP Morgan Chase Corporate Real Estate Implementation Group as a planning and business financial analysis manager accountable for driving strategies and managing tactical planning efforts for my departments. My acute knowledge of finance, figures, technology and team management propelled my career to the top as I proved to be an indispensable expert in my field.
Being able to multitask is one of my strong points and I seamlessly manage my career with having a family; 3 children, a house in the suburbs and a newly established family life in Merrick Woods, the town that I grew up in and where my extended family still lived. As my children started getting older, I began thinking that a full time job and a family may not mix at this time, and as I became more and more involved with the community and my children's schools, I decided to put the career on hold. But I needed more and so in searching for something with a little more flexibility, and using the skills I developed as a financial executive, I decided that Real Estate was probably a great option for me and something I could devote more time to as my family got older.
And so my story continues…Learning about homes inside and out, I decided to begin my new career as a licensed assistant appraiser, preparing reports for 1-4 family properties and understanding and reviewing plans and specifications for proposed residential properties. At the same time, I got my real estate salespersons license becoming an expert in all areas of Long Island, especially the neighborhood I grew up in and live in now! My knowledge and understanding make me an expert in not only home valuations but new construction, mortgages, title issues, dealing with municipalities, financing and anything else my clients and customers may need.
My success in real estate did not go unnoticed and so I was asked to join The Louise Pitlake Power Team at Douglas Elliman Real Estate. The team has placed in the top 10 teams Nassau/Suffolk/Queens for the past 10 years for both volume and units sold, consistently ranking as the #1 Team in the Merrick Office and winning accolades nationally as Real Trends Top Teams in New York, Zillow Top Team Nationwide and a Pinnacle Team Award Winner at Douglas Elliman, the highest award given in the company. As an aggressive, dynamic organized sales professional I have the passion and determination to succeed at everything I do and play a major role in the success of my team. My strong analytical and negotiating skills make me the advocate you want when entering into a real estate transaction and my extensive experience in customer service make me a comfortable and trusted agent to work with. I have proven to be highly respected for my dependability, hard work and problem solving…I speak fluent Greek and have a well-established name not only in my neighborhood but in the larger Greek community as well.
